8am  Holy Communion

A traditional service based, alternately, around the NZ Prayer Book and 1928 Prayer Book. Includes a shortened sermon and, occasionally, a little organ music. A quiet, reverent service in the peace of the early morning.

 

9.15am Holy Communion

A liturgical service drawing on the NZ Prayer Book and other sources. Formal in structure, devotional in style and warm in character. Music is based mostly around the pipe organ; also a choir and an instrumental/singing group each contribute on alternate weeks. Prayer Ministry is available during the Communion time. Service is about an hour in length. Morning Tea follows the service.

 

 11am Informal Worship

Informal, lively worship, relaxed in style and family-orientated. Casual dress. Contemporary Music led by worship band. Drama and other creative forms are encouraged. The service includes Communion once a month.  A thriving children’s ministry, has children joining in for the first part of worship and then going out to their own programs. Little children are welcome to stay in Church, Crèche is also available. The service is usually about one hour long. Prayer Ministry is available for personal prayer needs. Tea and Coffee, etc. for all afterwards.  

Concerning Holy Communion: All Christians of all ages (including children if parents wish) are welcome to share in the bread and wine of the Lord’s Supper.
